Life and Death in Northern Ireland. MLAs please take note!
Amid the political euphoria about yet another fresh start in political life in Northern Ireland there is a matter of life and death that the political elite and indeed the Northern Ireland press have yet to resolve. The little matter of forty cancer drugs(yes forty!) that are available in England but not in Northern Ireland. People are dying in Northern Ireland as a consequence of this neglect so what are the politicians at Stormont going to do about it? A matter of life and death far more important than any political "deal". Lets us see where there priorities lie? As long as we remain part of the UK the people of Northern Ireland are fully entitled to access to these drugs. It is a fundamental matter of human rights and a matter of life and death so Stormont politicians act and act now!
